Description of Duties:

We are seeking a highly analytical researcher to support our child welfare system implementation project. You will be responsible for investigating policy, business rules, user stories, and other documentation to provide informed recommendations and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research on child welfare policies, business rules, and processes.
• Analyze user stories, designs, and other project documentation to identify potential issues or inconsistencies.
• Advise the client on the best approach to resolve questions or address identified problems.
• Draft user stories, business processes, or other artifacts as needed.
• Document research findings, recommendations, and outcomes in Jira.
• Respond to information requests from stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, and MS Teams, preferred.
• Experience with System Integration (SI) engagements, preferred.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex information and present it clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with child welfare business processes is desirable.
• Able to perform more varied and difficult tasks.
• Work as a topmost trusted partner with aFit and the client.
• Provide attention to details.
• Approaches challenges with a positive, consultative mindset
• Self-starter with the desire to achieve and work with integrity.
• Willingness to grow and change through ambiguity.

Working Schedule and Travel:

Remote in PST time zone & occasional paid travel to Sacramento, CA.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
