Job Title: National Sales Manager – (Trailer/OEM/RV)

Location: Lenexa, KS 66219

Reports To: CEO

Industry: Flooring / Commercial Sales

Focus: Trailer, OEM and RV Industries Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented National Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for our flooring solutions within the Trailer, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), and RV industries. A hunter mentality, with a strong sense of urgency, a can-do attitude, and the ability to effectively close business. The ideal candidate is an individual contributor with a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly within the manufacturing or automotive sectors, and possess a deep understanding of the flooring industry. This role involves driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and deliver tailored flooring solutions to customers across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

o Develop and execute a national sales strategy to increase market share within the trailer, OEM, and RV industries.

o Identify high-potential customer segments and target new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

o Create and implement tailored sales campaigns focused on delivering value-driven flooring solutions to meet industry-specific needs.

2. Client Relationship Management:

o Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at trailer manufacturers, RV OEMs, and other industry stakeholders.

o Act as a consultative sales partner, identifying customer needs and presenting flooring solutions that align with those needs.

o Provide exceptional customer service and post-sales support to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty.

3. Market Analysis & Forecasting:

o Stay informed of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities in the trailer, OEM, and RV sectors.

o Conduct regular market analysis and share insights with the product and marketing teams to drive product innovation and strategic adjustments.

o Prepare and present sales forecasts and reports to senior management, tracking progress against goals.

4. Sales Process & Negotiation:

o Lead the negotiation process for large and complex contracts, ensuring profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships.

o Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of flooring solutions.

o Manage with confidence; pricing strategies, discounts, and promotions based on customer profiles and market conditions.

5. Collaboration & Communication:

o Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., product development, marketing, customer service) to ensure alignment on customer needs and industry trends.

o Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build the company’s presence and identify new business leads.

6. Product Knowledge & Development:

o Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company’s flooring solutions, including product features, benefits, and technical specifications.

o Provide feedback to product development teams on market demands and potential improvements to flooring products for the trailer, OEM, and RV industries.

Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

o Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in a similar role.

o Proven experience selling flooring solutions or related products to the trailer, OEM, and RV industries or similar sectors.

o Strong background in B2B sales with a demonstrated ability to grow and maintain customer accounts.

o Robust list of contacts in the trailer, OEM and RV industries.

Skills:

o You possess a hunter mentality, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to close business effectively.

o Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

o Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused approach.

o Proficient in CRM software and sales tools, with advanced MS Excel and reporting capabilities.

• Travel: Willingness to travel across the country to meet customers, attend industry events, and oversee key account relationships. Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the trailer, OEM, and RV manufacturing sectors, with an established network in the industry.

• Expertise in flooring solutions specifically designed for high-demand, mobile environments (e.g., slip-resistant, water-resistant, impact-resistant flooring).

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control within the OEM, RV and trailer industries. Attributes for Success:
