Job SummaryThe Gas Station Attendant is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations at the station, including customer service, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness in both the fueling area and convenience store. This role includes greeting customers, managing transactions, assisting with fuel pumps, restocking items, and keeping the station environment clean and organized. The attendant plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience while ensuring the station is well-stocked and operating efficiently. Responsibilities Customer Service: Greet customers warmly as they enter the gas station and assist with their needs in a friendly and professional manner. Fueling Assistance: Monitor the gas pump area, assist customers with fueling if necessary, and ensure safety standards are maintained. Transaction Management: Handle customer transactions at the register, including processing payments (cash, credit, debit, checks) and issuing receipts, change, or refunds as needed. Store Maintenance: Ensure the convenience store is fully stocked, organized, and clean at all times. Manage inventory, ensure pricing is accurate, and restock shelves as required. Sales Support: Suggest additional products to customers to increase sales, including fuel-related accessories and store items. Cleaning & Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment around the fuel pumps and inside the store. Regularly clean restrooms, counters, floors, and displays. Stock Management: Order products, receive deliveries, and ensure all inventory is properly stored and displayed. Fueling Operations: Supervise fuel deliveries and ensure pumps are filled according to safety regulations. Team Collaboration: Support and oversee the work of sales associates or other team members as necessary, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment. Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as required by management to support station operations.
