JOB DESCRIPTION : Job Title : Data Analyst – Merchant Success (w2 only) Location : 100% Remote Duration : 12 months contract with possibility of extension About the Role We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Grocery & Retail Merchant Success team, providing dedicated analytical support to one of our largest grocery merchant accounts. In this role, you’ll partner closely with both internal stakeholders and merchant teams to drive actionable insights that improve business performance.You will be responsible for pulling data from multiple sources (primarily SQL), building and maintaining dashboards, and delivering fast, high-quality analysis across a range of topics including gross bookings, retention, campaign performance, fulfillment metrics, and store-level performance.This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to dive deep into the numbers to uncover trends, surface opportunities, and drive decisions . About the Team The Grocery & Retail Merchant Success team sits within Central Operations and supports non-restaurant merchants across the US and Canada. Our mission is to ensure merchants have the data, tools, and insights they need to succeed on the client platform—while helping drive top-line growth and operational excellence. What You’ll Do Serve as the dedicated analytics partner to a major grocery merchant, providing regular insights and recommendations. Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports in Google Sheets. Write and edit complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources to support merchant asks and internal initiatives. Conduct deep-dive analyses across topics such as: Gross booking growth and trends Campaign and promotion performance Retention and repeat order behavior Top and bottom-performing cities/stores Operational metrics (e.g., found rate, fulfillment rate, completion rate, defect rate) Translate data into clear, compelling insights with business context and strategic recommendations. Collaborate cross-functionally with Ops, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support merchant success.
